The WOCC Master's program (Work: Contemporary Challenges) is an interdisciplinary, bilingual, and international degree in social sciences. It is dedicated to the study of contemporary transformations in the worlds of work and employment.
WOCC trains researchers specializing in work and employment (with the possibility of pursuing a PhD), public policy analysts in work and employment matters (experts working within international and local organizations), as well as practitioners in economic and social fields.
The recruitment process timeline is as follows:
January 8, 2026: opening of the online application phase (Phase 1)
March 22, 2026: application deadline
March 22-29, 2026: evaluation of applications
March 30 - April 4, 2026: admission interviews (Phase 2)
April 2026: admissions committee and publication of admission results
September 2026: start of classes
From the applicants' perspective, the admission process for the WOCC Master's program consists of three stages:
Receipt of applications submitted online (Phase 1).
Administrative validation: verification of application validity
Pre-selection of applications
Sending of interview invitations to pre-selected candidates
Oral interviews via Zoom with pre-selected candidates (Phase 2).
Publication of results to selected students, as well as to non-selected students
Important:
Applications are open each year from January to March, oral interviews take place starting in April, and results are published at the end of April.
Any incomplete application cannot be reviewed.
Selection Criteria:
The following elements will be taken into account by the selection committee:
Coherence and quality of previous academic background (CV, degrees, transcripts, etc.)
Candidate's general motivation for the WOCC program
Relevance and rigor of the research project or professional internship
Proficiency in French and English or Spanish (level B2 to C2 for each language, depending on the track)
